Inspired by her love of hip hop and African culture, Chantel's line combines bold colors, graffiti-inspired designs, and ankara inspired patterns to create comfortable, stylish pieces for all kings and queens. After struggling to find workout clothes that fit her style and body type, Chantel decided to create her own line to help others feel confident and comfortable whether they’re running errands, working out, or just chillin. Fit For Royals is a lifestyle brand that celebrates individuality and empowers everyday Kings and Queens to push through daily battles and embrace their worthiness. Our fun mashup of fitness, hip hop, African prints, and streetwear is inspired by Adinkra symbols representing loyalty, wisdom, self-love, and other principles. Our mission is to inspire our clients, The Royals Court, to reach their desired goals while staying humble and maintaining inner peace. Originated in West Africa, Adinkra symbols represents various concepts & principles and were printed onto cloths, architecture, and pottery. Cloths featuring these symbols were traditionally worn by royalty, spiritual leaders, etc. and were worn for many special occasions. The FFR logo was inspired by multiple Adinkra symbols to represent the following powers & royalty that’s embodied in all of us: loyalty, reaching a desired goal, strong yet humble, wisdom, knowledge, understanding, self love, lavish, and peace making. The crown represents the ultimate power: celebrating & embracing your individual greatness and worthiness.
